Festive Fun at Brimbank Libraries

This holiday season, Brimbank Libraries invites families to enjoy a bigger lineup of festive activities!

Celebrate the season your way – get making in our festive craft or Maker Space workshops, or kick back with a feel-good movie at our cosy Family Film Fun sessions.

Wrap up the year with festive fun, games and Christmas cheer at our final After School Activity Zone (ASAZ) sessions, and enjoy family Christmas movies during our Family Film Fun days at the library this December – popcorn included!

Get creative this festive season with our Young Maker Christmas workshops! Design your own mug, craft personalised ornaments, and decorate a tote or drawstring bag with your favourite photos or quotes. Suitable for Young Makers aged 10-15 years.

Sew your own festive ornament, design a sustainable tote from reclaimed fabric, and create thoughtful, low-cost gifts for your loved ones – including handmade cards that will delight your family and friends. Suitable for ages 15 years and up.

Create your own festive Christmas wreath and spread some holiday cheer. Learn to twist, tie, and decorate a beautiful wreath using seasonal foliage – a fun, hands-on way to bring the spirit of the season into your home. Suitable for adults.

Discover a range of festive events for the whole family across Brimbank. Enjoy live music, Christmas carols, Christmas festivals where you can meet Mr and Mrs Claus, and a special Christmas lunch in a 175-year-old castle.
