Brimbank Libraries welcomes community groups to explore their local library through self-guided visits that encourage discovery and confidence using library spaces and resources. 

Available for early learning centres, kindergartens, schools and adult learning groups.

Brimbank community organisations are welcome to arrange a self-guided visit to their local Brimbank Library location.

These visits provide community members with the opportunity to explore the library at their own pace, become familiar with library services and resources, and develop confidence using their local library.

Self-guided visits may include:

• Exploring different sections of the library
• Browsing and borrowing books for classroom use
• Discovering library collections, technology and community spaces
• Building confidence navigating the library independently

Library staff are available to assist with general enquiries during your visit. Self-guided visits do not include a facilitated program, Storytime or presentation.

If you would like to arrange library cards for your group to use during their visit, please select this option when completing the form. Suggested group size is up to 25 people.

Bookings are highly recommended. Brimbank Libraries are busy community hubs, and advance notice helps us identify a suitable time for your visit and ensure the best possible experience for your group.
