LGBTQIA+ Community

Brimbank City Council is dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive community that celebrates the diversity of all individuals, embracing their sexualities, genders, ages, ethnicities, cultures, and abilities.

Brimbank City Council is committed to creating a safe and inclusive community that values ALL people and the diversity they bring through their sexualities, genders, ages, ethnicities, cultures, and abilities.

Brimbank City Council also acknowledges those amongst the lesbian, gay, bisexual+, transgender and gender diverse, queer/questioning, intersex and ace+ communities (LGBTQIA+) who have worked hard to support the improved health and wellbeing of their peers, children, families, friends and country.

We recognise the communities of which we are apart, and we celebrate the extraordinary diversity of people’s bodies, ages, genders, sexualities and relationships the represent.

The Brimbank City Council website offers a wealth of resources including information on services for the LGBTQIA+ community, key dates of significance, and details about upcoming events.
