Get ready for the BIG Summer Read – pre-registration is now open to take part in this fun summer reading challenge!

Starting 2 December 2024 through to 31 January 2025, Public Libraries Victoria’s BIG Summer Read program encourages young readers to stay engaged over the holidays. Participants who log 10 books (or 10 x 30 minutes of reading) online will have the chance to win exciting prizes.

Brimbank Libraries is excited to be part of this fantastic challenge, hosting launch parties in early December and fun events throughout the summer to keep kids engaged. It’s also a great chance to discover books by this year’s author ambassadors, available in our collection.

Pre-registration is open for kids aged 0-18.

For more details and to register, visit our Big Summer Read page. Let’s make this summer the best one for reading!
