Have you ever wondered about Reconciliation Week and how we can all play a part in building stronger community connections? In this post, we’ll be diving into this year’s theme and how we’re celebrating together at Brimbank Libraries.

Reconciliation Week (May 27 – June 3) is a time to reflect on Australia’s shared history, recognise the cultures of First Nations peoples, and consider how we can walk together toward a more united future.

This year’s theme, Bridging Now to Next, is a powerful reminder that reconciliation is an ongoing journey. It’s about acknowledging the past, engaging in the present, and working together to shape a better future for the next generation.

Want to learn more or get involved? We recommend exploring our curated collection of books and resources on our First Nations in Brimbank page.
