How big can your sunflower grow? Collect a packet of King Sunflower seeds from one of our Seed Libraries, plant them, nurture them and see just how big your sunflower head can grow!
How does it work
- Collect King Sunflower seeds from Keilor or Sydenham Libraries and get growing! Please only plant sunflowers in your own garden, not on nature strips or public reserves.
Seeds are limited, so come in early to avoid missing out. A limit of one packet per family. - When your sunflower is in full bloom, measure the diameter of the flower head and take a clear photo with the measurement visible.
- Submit your photo. The biggest sunflower head received from each branch wins a prize!
