Put your sewing skills to the test!
Think you’ve got the creativity and sewing skills to impress? Bring an old piece of clothing or fabric to the Maker Space and transform it into something completely new for your chance to win!
How does it work
- Not yet a Maker Space Super User? Complete a Maker Space induction to access the space
- Visit the Maker Space during opening hours with an old piece of clothing and/or fabric. Bring your own thread if you need a specific type or colour
- Use the sewing equipment in the Maker Space to create your project
- Submit your finished piece to be displayed and included in judging for a chance to win
No are bookings needed. Just drop in, start sewing and get creative!
Who can enter?
People aged 15 years and over. All skill levels are welcome to take part, from beginners to experienced sewists.
