Maker Space

Brimbank Libraries offers a state-of-the-art Maker Space equipped with the latest technology, designed to inspire and support individuals embarking on their maker journey.

The Maker Space at Deer Park Library is a dynamic creative space designed to be a haven for crafters and makers alike. The Maker Space is filled with tools and equipment which can be used to bring your creative projects to life. Make new friends, learn collaboratively and walk away with some new skills!

The Maker Space is a self-learning space – it’s important to note that staff aren’t experts in all the equipment – they will be able to guide you in getting started and provide basic troubleshooting assistance during your visit.

To use the space, you’ll need to book in and attend a Safety Induction. We run Safety Inductions regularly. Click here to book a session.
Once you are inducted, you’ll gain access to our range of creative maker equipment.

Users must be 15+. Anyone under the age of 15 must be directly supervised by an inducted adult.

We encourage you to book your equipment ahead of time, however walk-ins are welcome. To book, please use our Contact Us Form.
