Brimbank Libraries is commited to supporting both individual and collaborative learning needs, and offer study and work spaces where members of our community can concentrate, share ideas, and work together.
Each branch offers ample study and work areas, with additional bookable spaces at Sunshine Library and Deer Park Library, including study booths and study rooms reserved for work, study, and research purposes only.
These rooms are quiet spaces unsupervised by library staff, please be respectful of others and keep noise to a minimum.

Study Booths
Study booths are designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 people, providing a private and focused environment for studying and collaboration. It offers a quiet space equipped with a table and chairs, encouraging productive study or work sessions. The booth is well-lit to ensure a comfortable atmosphere for reading, writing, or online meetings.
Booths are not equipped with AV equipment or computers. Members can use their own laptop and connect to the library’s free, unlimited Wi-Fi.

Study Rooms
Study rooms are specially designed to accommodate groups of up to 4 people, providing an ideal environment for collaborative learning and teamwork. These rooms offer a spacious and comfortable setting with a large table and chairs.
Each study room is well-lit, creating an atmosphere for focused studying and discussion. Rooms feature a whiteboard with markers available for loan from the customer service desk.
Rooms are not equipped with AV equipment, except for Study Room 3 which features a screen for presentations or screen sharing.
Rooms do not have computers. Members can use their own laptop and connect to the library’s free, unlimited Wi-Fi.
