eSmart takes a cultural change approach to make the internet safer and reduce cyberbullying. The Alannah & Madeline Foundation and the Telstra Foundation formed a partnership in 2012 to develop eSmart Libraries, a cyber safety framework designed to fully equip libraries, staff and library users with the skills they need for smart, safe and responsible use of digital technology.
Brimbank Libraries will continue to organise programs to spread the eSmart message and ensure that our communities have secure and user-friendly online spaces to interact.
